VOLUNTEER

VOLUNTEER WITH US!

“Remember that the happiest people are not those getting more, but those giving more.” ― H. Jackson Brown Jr.

WE NEED NEW VOLUNTEERS!

Young adults, retired folks, veterans, disabled folks…we welcome all and will spend time with you to show you the ropes.

We can always use an extra set of hands to help with farm chores including loving our horses. Here are some of our chores:

  • Feeding and grooming horses
  • Assist with bringing the horses in/out of the barns for feed and care
  • Mucking stalls and filling water buckets in each stall
  • Cleaning feed buckets, feed rooms, barn hallways, etc.
  • Stacking hay in hay room and shelters – great workout!
  • Mowing grass and weed whacking
  • Painting and repairing fences
  • Learn how to handle the horses with one of our Education Coordinators

If you cannot visit our farm to help in-person, you can help in these other ways:

  • Fundraising and sponsorships – and winning grants!
  • Event planning and promotions
  • Marketing such as creating an email newsletter
